The Constitution

Constitution of the Republic of Mabruenia.
The people of Mabruenia, to form an adjusted country with the era’s standards, will establish justice, give for the defense of the country, and improve the standard of life for the citizens involved, and secure our liberty. Do follow this constitution to the fullest, and establish this constitution of the Republic of Mabruenia


Articles

Article 1: legislative branch


The legislative branch is what drafts proposed laws, confirms or rejects presidential nominations for heads of federal agencies, federal judges, and the Supreme Court, and has the authority to declare war.



Article 2: Executive branch

The Executive branch will be what carries out and enforces laws, this includes the President, the Vice President, The cabinet, executive departments, independent agencies, and other boards, commissions, and committees. Mabruenian citizens have the right to vote for the president and vice president through free, confidential ballots.



Article 3: Judicial branch
The Judicial branch is what decides the constitutionality of federal laws and resolves other disputes about federal laws. However, judges depend on our government's executive branch to enforce court decisions. Courts decide what really happened and what should be done about it.


Article 4: Citizenship

In order to gain citizenship to the republic, you would need to submit documents stating why you would want to become a citizen, as well as showing proof of ID and a legitimate passport from another nation.


Article 5: Amendment process

An amendment may be proposed by a two-thirds vote of both Houses of Congress, or, if two-thirds of the States request one, by a convention called for that purpose. The amendment must then be ratified by three-fourths of the State legislatures, or three-fourths of conventions called in each State for ratification.



Article 6: Debts, Supremacy, Oaths, Religious tests.

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the Federal Republic of Mabruenia and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the Mabruenian Republic.


Article 7: Ratification.

The Ratification of the Conventions of four States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same.

Amendments



Admendment 1: The right to bear arms.

All citizens reserve the right to bear arms, as long as they are over 18, have permits, and do not have a record of violence


Amendment 2: The right to free speech and a free press.



All citizens reserve the right to have free speech, as well as a free press, but only in times of war shall it be restricted for the safety of the citizens

Amendment 3: The right to not allow soldiers into your home.

As a citizen, you have the right to deny a soldier of the nation to use your home. The government cannot force it upon you.


Amendment 4: unreasonable search and seizure

The government has no right to do unreasonable searches and seizures of an individual or their property without a warrant.

Amendment 5: fair trials

An individual has the right to fair and speedy trials, the right to have charges told by a grand jury, the right to not have property taken away without just compensation. A person cannot be tried for the same crime twice. A citizen has the right against self-incrimination and cannot be imprisoned without due process of law

Amendment 6: federal cases

This amendment extends the right to a jury trial in federal cases.

Amendment 7: cruel and unusual punishments

Excessive bail is banned to be done, as it is viewed as a way to just put the person in jail, as well as cruel and unusual punishments being fined, and in worst cases, banned.

Amendment 8: Rights

Just because certain rights are said in this constitution, it does not mean that people do not have other rights.

Amendment 9: governmental powers

The federal government only has powers said in the constitution, if they aren't listed, the powers are for the states or the people. 




Amendment 10: Sovereignty.


The Republic of Mabruenia may not join unions, or be annexed by another micronation. The congress, or the president cannot sign a treaty signing over Mabruenian Sovereignty,

Amendment 10: Wars

Mabruenia may not enter into wars digitally, or physically, unless it has absolutely no choice but to do it. Digital wars are considered Role Play. Conflicts should be solved peacefully by Mabruenia. Mabruenian is a neutral nation.
